havent had a thread like this in a while....

could everyone stop, pick up their own toys (no fighting over them either) and get back in their prams...

since when cant a fraction be represented as a decimal? 1/4 = 0.25... 1/2 = 0.5??
we can all work with both - if not we should go back to school

since when did peoples age effect how they care for fish???.. and for a 14 year old - his spelling and use of the english is better than others on here too...

The guy obviously cares about his fish and does want advice... or he wouldnt have posted the question in the first place....

I'm off to bed as its now 1:45am... I'll catch up with the drama tomorrow

Yes but .25" is imperal unit (INCH) in decimal system, it dont work.
Yes 1/4 imperial units = .25 metric units etc etc
Same as you cannot correctly state 25 1/4mm its just not right no matter how much you argue it. Thats just a fact all be it completly off topic and absolutly zero to do with fish

Now that we have all stopped bickering...

A - The plec sounds fine to me, perfectly normal for them to change their pattering slightly depending location in the tank / mood

B - A common plec will outgrow that size tank very quickly and needs to be rehomed to avoid being stunted

C - The Imperial System shouldn't be decimalised, but it's pretty easy to understand what people mean if they do (assuming you notice the "." of course :hey: )

I shouldn't laugh, but it's turned into a pretty amusing thread
You've summed it up ever so nicely :)

ps: by "rehome" I take it that you don't necessarily mean "find a new owner or return to the lfs" - but find a larger tank some time in the near future :) (which I think he's trying to do).

Looking at the buy/sell section he's definitely looking
