i cant wait until tomorrow. im getting a male and female guppy.
i hope they will breed thanks every one.
recently iv been having a bit of bad luck.
you know the old saying it is impossable not to breed live bearers, that rule
doesent apply to me :(
i just need a bit of luck.
thanks

awwww i hope your new guppys get on alright, aswell as the new arrivals! Do you have any piccies cos I love seeing fry! :)

no sorry iv lost the USB cable for my digital camara but as soon as i find
it i will put them on.
they have got great colours and are big enough for me to tell thier sex.
thier both females.
thanks :)

What's your ratio going to be when you get the new ones? The more stress you have on the females, the less likely you are to get fry.

In the days leading up to her birth she'll have quite a pronounced gravid spot (a big black mark just above and in front of her anal fin)
Keep it in mind that if you continue to keep these fry you're going to end up with a lot of platty's.

she is realy fat and i know for a fact that she is pregnant because
i always see the male mating with her but there is no black spot.
does this mean she has a wile to go before she gives birth.
also my mate has a yellow and black platty and you can't see
no black spot but she still had 30+ babys.
i myself have a pregnant yellow and black platty.
i just wait and wait.
will she be heavily pregnant.
thanks
black molly3

the reason i cant see the black spot is because her body paterns go like this...
yellow on her upper body and black on the lower body so even if she has got a black
spot you wouldnt be able to see it anyway.
any sugestions or symptoms appreciated.
