My Platty

It doesn't look like she's ready to give birth. Her stomach isn't squared-off from the looks of it. I'd just leave her in that tank, and if nothing happens in a couple weeks, and if she's no fatter or still no squared-off, I'd put her back into the main tank. And yes, more females will help a lot, but since you only have a 10 gallon, I'd only get 1 or 2 more.

So yeah, still nothing, so I've put my female platty back into the community tank. After less than five minutes, the male began chasing her again. It's lights out now, so they're a little calmer, although I think I will be purchasing a bleeding heart platy or yet another hi-fin platy.

Any suggestions?
