My Platie Keeps Pooping Am I Feeding Them Wrongley?.

My platie keeps pooping loads, the other 4 are ok.

What are you feeding, and how often? Some just poo more then others, and especially females when they are pregnant.

Mine poo'd loads when i first got them- They settled down after a while

Flakes, dnt think its wht im feeding them as the other 4 r ok, she does keep playing round the plants ad bubbles on her own tho wierd.

It's not abnormal then.

Just a note - You may want to try adding some veggies into their diet, along with some kind of high-protein food (Freeze-dried, Frozen, or Live). It will make them healthier. Just don't feed the high-protein foods more then 2-3 times a week, as it can make them bloated or constipated. Veggies can be fed whenever, but most people feed them a few times a week. A day of fasting is also good to clear their system.

You can feed lots of types of veggies. Lettuce, broccoli, zucchini, peas, and cumcumber just to name a few. It's best to blanch them (drop them in boiling water for a few seconds) to soften them up. With the peas, you have to shell them too.

Well, in your tank since you don't have many fish, you can just take a small piece of it and let it fall to the bottom or get a veggie clip for it. They may start picking on it. Be sure to remove uneaten parts, as otherwise it will wreak havoc on the water stats.

By the way, what's going on with the bigger tank? I thought you were getting one a few days ago?

got a 20L is that ok, Just waitig to add fish in few days

That's only about 5 gallons, which means you can keep about one Platy max.
