:wub: :wub: :wub: I love your pics. i am so new to tanking that I had to look up cycling. I live in an apartment and only have a 10 gallon with 4 neon tetras and 2 swordtails. I look forward to seeing more of your tank and when I move, will probably fill my living room with a huge one!!!
 
It'll be a Liposarcus or Hypostomus ('Common' plecs) that have had the colour modified through breeding in fish farms either in Indonesia or the Czech republic. I have been reliably informed that no red colour morph exists in the wild. It may have been done by genetic tinkering or dye injections. it is, sadly, a relatively new craze that is sweeping the world of catfish (we've already had it with other fish - the Indian Glassfish and Glass Catfish dyed imports). Also there are a lot of Synodontis hybrids reaching these shores from the very same breeders.... They're in it for the money, nothing else, unfortunately! :/
