angels love to jump for food, grimmy has said many times how he can pet them and they jump out of the water to get food.
one of those times they will jump right on the floor. also fish need lights, just like we do. the direct light helps them produce vitimin D which is needed.

you should think about putting a backround on your tank, and definatly a lid and soon.

fish dont NEED light although i think a lid is a must with angel fish, i had a big one jump before luckily it jumped when i was there and was able to put him straight back in no harm done

yes they do, fish need direct light to produce vitamin D. just like you do. if they dont get enough vitamin D, it can leed to all sorts of problems.
