My oscar is crazy

I went to check on him this morning since he jumped out of his tank yesterday (stayed out for 20 seconds or so,) and the second I walked in my room, I saw him swimming under the filter intake UPSIDE DOWN!!! I was scared to death, thinking he had swimbladder disorder or something, but the second he saw me he righted himself and swam over to me, pretty as you please. I guess he was just scratching his belly on the intake or something
What a freak!

Haha, my firends oscar does crazy stuff like that. He likes to swim at like a 30 degree angle when he is attacking his prey. Any other time he is perfectly normal.

My oscar would attack the glass sides of tank. Did this for many years. He was 12 inches. He attacked the heater one day, shattered the glass and ate a piece. He ended up dying! Keep an eye on your crazy oscars!

I have replaced him with a Redhead Cichlid , along with non glass heaters!
