yup, for sure, i missed the last betta association meeting but was over at mariannes last night and we talked about the show. latest development is it's going to be held at a hotel or something in april. one of the reasons i've decided to do two spawns at once is the fact that i want something ready to show. if both spawns go as planned, i'll probably be showing offspring of the butterfly pair and offspring of the sibling x of my crowntail line.

Hey Jen - Steph and I are definitely gonna try to come. She may come up that Friday and stay with me, because I'll have school that day, and then we'll either drive up Friday night or Saturday early early. Either way, maybe we should carpool or hotelpool , might save us some money.

Yup, that sounds like a plan. I can't make any definite plans yet, but I can start figuring stuff at the beginning of the year. That'll still give us over 3 months.

I'm really looking forward to seeing you gals again - I was going to try to invite you for a Rainier hike soon, but my car is dead and buried.

Oh well, I'll have another one soon enough. Hope school's going well.

Well, my opaque male is a terror in the spawn tank. After putting the two together and waiting for him to nest for quite some time, I finally let her out anyway, so she might induce him to get busy. No luck. He had to be pulled.

Now she is in with copper boy, who is much bette with wooing the ladies, although he has trouble getting the job done. After he stuns the female, he usually passes out. Hopefully he will do okay today!
