You need to upload at least 3 videos per week. You also need to add a lot of tags.

Ugh! It is really hard, getting more views than subscribers. Oh well, can't lie, its all about fish

I had a youtube channel once that had 145 subscribers and was gettting 126 views per video and only 5 likes per video. Deleted it.
