Thanks !!!! i'm a bit of a cheat i'm afraid as all the plants are fake. I didn't feel brave enough to go for a planted tank first time. Gonna buy a larger tank after xmas and will make that one my planted tank project. This one in the pic is a 64ltr. Thanks so much for your kind words

Considering all plants are fake i like what you done with that, Think when you start with live plants your set to do some really nice scapes.

Thanks Deek. i'm really looking forward to the challenge of planting up a tank...somewhat daunted to. I have a lot of time before I get the new tank so will spend that time very wisely. There are some beautiful tanks on here thyat have inspired me into deciding to take up this challenge. Will spend the next few months researching like crazy as i'm totally clueless when it comes to plants. can't wait to start though.

I was the same but once I worked out what lighting I had and whether or not to go down the CO2 route it was a case of picking plants that would do well in a lowish tech tank maybe one day I will upgrade my lighting and get some CO2

You know what, I didn't even realise they were plastic on first glance! It looks absolutely fab, well done. Specifically on how you've actually placed them all, can't wait to see what you do with real plants

Thank you so much for the lovely comments everyone. Don't think i'm going to be able to wait until after xmas to get my larger tank. Am hoping for maybe within the next couple of months. Really looking forward to the challenge. Thank you all once again it means a lot.

Bought my first fish today !!! two Dwarf Red Gourami's but only this one would stop swimming long enough for me to get this pic. Now that they have seemed to settle in nicely, they are coming up to the glass to be realy nosey but my camera batteries have run out. Isn't that they way.

Looks like a male to me, are they in the 2fter? If so just a note, you could find some agression issues between them once they start to settle in.

He's looking very nice though

Added six Neons and four Guppies today. Wil try to get some pics of the guppies as they are stunning but too fast for me at the moment lol
