Hi, I have a tropical aquarium thats about 40 litres with neons and platies in, and a few cories, for Christmas I got a pretty new 60l tetra tank, Ive set it all up and want you to give me your opinion! My plan for this tank is shoal or cardinals a few neon rainbow fish and some cories.

This is the tank after day 1 with a few plants in

welcome... aw nice tank you got there....i have panda cories and leopard cories 2, lovely active little fish. well done :)

really cool
and nicely planted

good choise of fish

but i would just get 2 schools 1 of corys and the other cardinals

How come no neon rainbow fishies? Would that be overstocked? I thought it would be fine, Im not getting very big shoals.
Thanks by the way for your comments, I think my tank looks sooo amature compared to you guys!

i dont think you can keep more than a max of 10 fish in there

so you should divide what you can into schools that way they have the maximum school numbers which would make them happier

i wouldnt put less than 5 cardinals in there

Thanks alot for your suggestions Ill have to have a think and come back to you with my newly revised stocking plan! I definately want a group of corys as they are my favourite. Other than that Im willing to compromise whatever as long as my tank is healthy!

what a great start youve made :good: good job.

personally i would take the ornaments out and replace them with wood, but im not the biggest ornament fan

nice tank tho
