im not sure about 2 occis but i know my feather fin goes fine with my petricolas.its all about how many hiding places there are

i would get more clown loach they do better in groups of 4 or more

also i wouldnt let them ship the tank to you until the silacon is fully dry at the tank makers as moving it when still not fullt cured it may make the sils weaker

Yeah, I may look again at stocking and try for another clown to make 4, and maybe another syno.

I'm just having trouble finding and decent size clowns they as all abour 2" around here and I need then about 4-6"

This very true, but I used to be able to get big clowns easily, and now I want some I cant get them typical lol

slightly off topic but i have a synodontos occelifer and am interested in this theory about having two and them being more active! has anybody heard of this or experienced this

I've spoken to a lot of people about it lately and they keep loads of Syno's together, but they say dont keep the same species, unless they are male and female.

i have about 8 synos and soon to be more but its all about the amount of hiding places and places for fish to claim territory.

and yes when you add more synos the other starts to become more active.this is due to territory issues,competition,and sometimes just fun.

SOLD to the fish!!!

Right well thats me convinced totally now, I think I'll be getting another Syno when the tank is here and setup, obviously not straight away but gives me another fish to buy in the future.
