I am Nemo!!
well my newest tank(sorry no pics) is a 29 gal planted. decore is small natural colored gravel with a few big rocks and some driftwood with lots of river rocks. plants are as folows: 3 bunches of hornwort, 3 bunches of anacharis, 2 bunches of cabomba, 1 big bunch of red ludwigia, 5 jungle vals, 6 small amazon swords, 4 java fern, and 2 small dwarf water lilies. fish are: 1 angel fish, 1 male and female german blues rams, 3 ottos, 7 neons, 7 glo lites, 2 albino corries, 2 palaeteus correis, and 1 spotted corry. equipment is just the standered filter, lighting, and heater that came with the tank.
btw by bunches i mean approx 5-7 stems per bunch. the big bunch of red ludwigia is about 9 or so i think.
today i set up my diy co2.
i used:
1 2litter bottle
2 cups of sugar
1 tsp of dry active yeast
1 tsp of baking soda
and filled the bottle approx half way with water
ive already gotten some bubbles......i havent conted how many yet. i was wondering what would be a good amount as far as bubbles per minute?
oh and i wanted to know if its bad to have activated carbon in the filter. also i dose this once a week: http/www.petsmart.com/global/product_det...D=1137048927102
