love the tank, hate everything in it (apart from fish)

But wait a minute! your kids must just LOVE it and you are a good mum/dad putting them first. You will have plenty of time to build a more natural look when they either loose interest or hopefully want a tank of their own

Either way.....it's a personal thing

PS. I think I have heard that kind of Platy refered to as variegated.

i think you have a aqua clear 50 then.. ok i might get one for a 70. a aqua clear 70 and i have a wood door for the stand...

ya i saw you said it in the harware and do it yourself thread...

Yeah the filter goes to 50, but the packaging says 20-50 gallons.

Why are you going to get the 70 gallon one? Dont you have a 46 gallon one, is it better to have a larger filter?

i was going to get the 50 but.. the more filtration the better the 70 is stronger then the 50.. like you would not need the 70 because you have little fish and stuff.. i have little fish to.. i have 6 neon tetras 4 corys and 2 angels... all small but the angels will grow.. i have a baby parrot to i want in there..

if you did plann on getting fish that are more dirty and a little bigger then i would upgrade.. and bubbles would be nice to in your tank.. i have a bubble wall.. its good for oxegen..

Yeah I think a bubble wall would look nice too...it will take sometime before I get one though, Im guessing they're fairly expensive...anything over $15.00 expensive to me lol

well no a buuble wall is only about 4-10 dolllors but you need a pump.. if you know what a pump is..

pumps are like 8$$ and bubble wall is 6-8 or depending on sizes and you need tubbing 1-2$

hey i found all hobbies expensive to me.. i go kart ,,paintball, i like fish, i skateboard, ride any thing with motors.. and nothing cheap.. and i do alot more..


most hobbies are not cheap..

That is why this is my only hobby, I assume you dont have children...they take up all the hobby money plus much more lol Not to mention a new large vehicle to fit all of us, and then the cost of insurance...and then bills...blah, blah...

no i dont do much often.. paintball one in a while.. surf and skate in the summer..
i only work at petland for now till school is finished for me. i have a car.. but all i can say is save your money when you are a kid and growing up.. I did that and now im glad i did.. it helped me alot.. and still is.. but no kids..
