Some pictures I took whilst setting up my new rio 400 which after the 3rd tank delivery (those who have been following the thread in Trop Disc will know what thats all about) is finally up, running, planted (kind of) and fish now in. Personally I think the dinosaurs sets the whole thing off nicely

Gravel + wood in.

Hopefully those plants will grown and fill out a bit over time, if I can keep them alive!

They are all just loving the new space, the cories (who for the life of me I cant photo as they are just going nuts swimming around) cant believe their luck and keep trying their dash for the surface, as cories do, and finding its a damn long way to go

lovely fishes and tank, i love rainbows not only for their colour but both of mine have mananged to stay alive through a disease period where all but 4 fish died, nothing better than the colours of my male rainbow!

Thanks :)

Im just hoping that the redmoor wood eventually stop floating, so I can move the giant fern on the bogwood further to the right, at the moment its helping to keep the wood from rising, along with several large rocks that I dont actually want in the tank

Beautiful tank Minx and nice to see someone with a shoal of Rainbows. They are overlooked so often but they are such a stunning fish! :good:

looking awesome minx, am i right in thinking you have some trifasciatus, praecox and boesmani rainbows in there?

I was looking at some rainbows today at work as we just had a big delivery of them this week. might add a shoal to my 5ft if i have enough room in my final stocking

your tank is...

i feel it may have looked better with sand but whatever you do DONT CHANGE IT!!

can you design an aquascape like that for me? pleeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssseeee!

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy

finally got it and it looks good :good:
how did you mange to get it in then?

With me and my two teenagers, no help from the driver, miserable bleeder  Your idea really, popped it on a duvet, lifted it up one end slightly and slowly eased it round and into the room, only took about 5 minutes after all that worry

Yes, 6 Praecox, 10 Trifasciata and 5 Boes, gonna add about 6 Lacustris in a few weeks and thats it fully stocked already. Whereabouts is your store? Cant be far from me, might have to pop on over one day and have a look round.

Nooooooooooo I hate sand! So I got some really fine gravel, I like it and its nice and soft on the cories.

I didnt really design it, just popped it all in and hoped for the best  Will need to move stuff around as things grow, fingers crossed, thanks for the nice comments all, really appreciated. Ive been sat here all night just watching them all having so much fun, cant believe I had them all in a tiny 30g over the last few weeks, feel horrible for them for it, so glad they are finally in their rightful place.
