My New Rena Panorama 100

Very nice, really like the aquascaping.

Thanks but it was mostly purely accidental! I've never kept this many plants before and it was a lot of trial and error. The wood has made a lot of difference and working around that has enabled me to come up with something looking half decent. Still a few plants dotted around that could be better placed but to be honest it's a fish tank not a plant tank!

thats a lovely looking tank you have there, very nice. do you have co 2 and things for the plants?

No CO2, just a daily dose (at the moment) of 1/7th flourish and some root tabs/plant substrate. Seems to be working although not in the same league of some of the proper planted tanks on here. This one's low tech and couldn't really be bothered with a high tech tank, too much like hard work. I just enjoy chilling and watching the fish!

thats what I reckon, I was going to get C02 but I am just dosing with flourish as well got fertiliser sticks and things too, seems to work. And new bulbs made a huge difference.

nice though I like it. :good:

I added the Apistos about a week ago. They took a while to settle but now they're the bosses of the tank!

Speak to Mark Breeze at dwarf-cichlid.com. Very reasonable prices, great quality fish and he's very helpful and knowledgeable on apistos.

where did you get the wood from, that sort of fallen branches look is something I have been after buy can never find it

Wow. Nice tank, i also love the wood. By the way you have some REALLY good camera skills.

I got it from Aquaessentials

Thanks, yeah the wood was a good find (see above). Those were some of my first shots with my new DSLR camera, I thought they were a bit shoddy to be honest but I will endeavour to practice. I'm not at home at the moment but will take some more shots when I get back.

tank looks good! any chance of some updated pictures, or a full plant list?
regards JC :good:
