My New Plec

Finally got round to adding one to my tank , picked up this little guy today, approx 2" long at the moment.

yea, thats a albino bn, i have just added a normal bn to my tropical tank, he is a bit shy though, although being a rather beautiful plec... can i ask how much did you pay for yours?- my lfs wanted £11.00 for a 2inch albino, so i went with the 5.59 normal bn, i felt they were having a laugh

I payed £7.75 for him , there was a larger one in another tank though that was £10

This little guy is very active, currently fighting off my corys for an algae wafer lol

I find them to be individuals. One of my broswns is a lot more active than any of the others, while one of my other browns hides all the time. The goldens I have are somewhere in between these extremes.

how big will he get maximum?

Just Googled and 4" to 6" with 6" being the maximum so better than common plec's that get too large!

Odd. At any moment, I can see the majority of my BNs when I take a look. They don't hide when I come up to the tank, either.

Well ive had him for nearly 1 week now and seems to have settled in nicely , always out and about during the day.

Pic of him munching on some cucumber, had to use a heater holder to attach it to the bottom of the tank

He's gorgeous! Love those bristles. My albino and darn BN babies are only 1 inch long and very shy -can't wait for them to grow into cute adults like yours

woah! £11 for an albino BN? mine was £2 at 2" from a local breeder....
