I think he's trying to see how many times he can get banned before they block his ip. Your already up to 3 or 4 now right?

psgill00   we've won ya over mate  if everyone stoped buying them they WILL stop selling them. You cant just buy them because someone else might and misstreat them the fact is they will probably die anyway from the dye so... just think about that

i think its funny how a 9 year old causes so much trouble. Nibbles that is.

I think that they are nice fish, even though they have been abused. They are lucky to be w/ psgill who will take care of them.
For all the haters... complaining here wont help the problem of dyed fish

Errrr... yes it will. If people stop buying dyed fish and make it known why, then they will stop dyeing fish because of bad publicity, cost and the fact that the fish will not sell.

Nibbles,

Please do not start your usual bickering and idiocy.

This thread should have been done with, but NOooooooo. You want to get yourself kicked again.

Glad I read this thread, really interesting. I don't think I have ever seen a dyed fish in any of the lfs's that I been too. I did notice some parrot fish in the one I normally go to the other day, and they were quite a pretty pink colour if I remember correctly. Could someone post a picture or link to what a parrot fish should look like so that I could tell if they were dyed ot not, cause if they were, I will not be going back there

Cheers

Steph

Im sure that most people here are aware of dyed fish, and know what to look out for, but I mean fighting over it on these forums wont make a difference. Letting the ppl who buy these fish, who don't know they are dyed will make the difference. Not everyone in the world, who is interested in fish, comes to this site. An NONE of the pet stores that I have been to tell the consumer that these are injected w/ ink to make them this color!

Regarding dyed fish.
I don't find them appealing but lets face it the fish had no say so in whether they were dyed or not but there is certainly nothing wrong in someone who likes them giving them a good home maybe in a small way they can make up for the mistreatment they rec'd before going to a tank with quality care.

Thats my thoughts. They've been dyed so leave them to dye in a pet store??? Think not.
