My New Paradise Gourmi

I have come to this forum after being blocked from ishlore (add f) for unknown reasons full ip block. But i have a quick question about my new blue paradise gourmi. He is about 2 1/2 inches long i brought him home from the lfs and put him in my 10 gallon tank after 10mins of floating i ran straight into problems with my dwarf gourmi trying to nip him so i moved my Dwarf gourmi to my 30 gallon tank. The BP is very dull colored and droopy i think this is just because of his housing conditions in the lfs though. i am feeding him enriched food right now to help his color. Both my gourmi are male and i was hoping to put them togather since both dwarf and paradise are equally agressive i figured i would see if they could balance eachother out. In the BP case it was not too fair to him so i was wondering if i should let the BP run the 10 gallon on his own for a few weeks until he feels better and then reitroduse the dwarf gourmi to put them on equal grounds (i know the paradise will kill another male paradise and what scares me is that the dwarf is so similar)

I think 10 gallons is too small for both a paradise fish and a dwarf gourami. The DG will likely bully the paradise fish until one day you walk in and find the DG dead. Just my $.02 worth...it'd probably work in the 30 gallon tank, though, with good sight lines but you'd need to rearrange the tank when adding the paradise fish into the 30 gallon (the DG probably considers the 30 gallon his territory now).
