me 2 lol and we quiet close 2 so depends who gets there first mite buy sum off each other :p almost others that i hope will breed :)

well just brought another tank, oh dear thats 8 now  will be having sand so think the panda's will be going in there

It sounds like time to start cloning a filter Lilfishie. If you have 7 working tanks there is no need to wait out the prolonged cycle, clone one of your filters instead. You should be ready to go in a week or less.

thats what i am planning oldman, just waiting for the sand co clear a little.

i think i may have a definate female, this one is much larger than the other 5, so looks good

on a down side one of them isn't looking too good, it hasn't been swimming about as much and today doesn't have its fins fully out like the others :(

How are they doing? Pandas can be difficult. Some have been overbred and farm bred. They are one fish it is goo to know where they came from in order to get hardy stock.

well unfortunatley found that one dead this morning, the others are looking good though so hopefully he will be my only loss, fingers crossed.

this will be there perminent home once its safe and sand settled:

I was also considering moving two Pandas into a Betta tank. I'm a little concerned that the preferred temp for Bettas and Pandas are different...

i wouldn't move them, they do better in groups

just fed some bloodworm and they went mad for it :hyper:

I am with lilfishie, SharoCC.

Keep the group together. I would add that moving is stressful and be sure your Betta is very mild tempered before you put any Corys in his tank esp pandas.

Your pandas would prefer 71 to 77 F as the outside limits. While the Betta would prefer closer to 80 F.
