The idea of the plastic container is great as it is cheap and gives it temporary look. This comes in handy for any better half that is worried about you getting too many tanks

is that a plastic toy box ?I know it's not cichlid related but I use one of these for my beta fry grow out tank.

It was £16 and came with the airpump and everything. Handy little filter.
It's so funny watching them just a flick of a fin
From mum or dad and it sends the fry spinning
Doing a 360 lol..
Would a plastics box be ok and does the filter stick to the plastic I would be afraid the heater would
Melt it, I need a tank ASAP and get it cycled went to look at one today 2nd hand but
It was all chipped and slung in the garden
I keep looking on eBay and gumtree but why do people take out the filter
So it dies ffsss
that would make it a 20x12x12 ... possibly a tad small for the pair but ok to raise the young inJust had a quick look but not sure how to search by distance
I've Sean a 50cm x 30 x 30 on gumtree for £15 would that be ok in size ?
possable but ive never done that before and im nervous in doing thatYeah I can imagine it would be the cories, seeing as they are down there knocking about, you got anything else inthere with them?
With the new filter cant you use your media from this tank?
