Alright Navarre, after asking for pictures you disappeared from IRC, so here we go :) I took a bit more wide angle picture to show off some of my other corals that are near it, and show how much room I've allowed for sweepers at night.

Under normal 10,000k + Actinic lighting

Very nice indeed. I can see that its not fully open yet but when it does it will be a stunning coral.

How hard are hammer corals to keep and what should you be wary of with them? From above I see they have sweepers so you can't keep it near other corals just kinda curious might get one someday and wanted some info on them thanks.

Under good lighting, hammer corals are not too difficult to keep. Not only do they have sweeper tentacles at night, but, their regular tentacles can extend at least 3- 4 inches (on mine at least) during the day. The benefit from feeding weekly, have a delicate corallite base and sometimes will host a clown. Pix:

Very intolerant of excess Nitrates and Phosphates too. If these levels are too high the coral will not extend fully and if exposed for a long time they will disintegrate and die.
