I finally made my way to Shirley aquatics, and it was well worth the trip for anyone who is thinking of going.

I managed to pick up this guy.

But just a quick question, he has two small white coloured fins on either side at the front of his body (symmetrical). I would put this down to colouration but my girlfriend is worried. Is this normal? I have 3 other bettas, two black coppers which have no white on at all and a red veiltail who also has these white fins.

I hope the pictures help. He wouldn't let me have a good shot. The picture far right shows the small white fin.

The LFS has a crowntail with solid white ventrals. They are often a different colour. I just picked up a silver male today with blood red ventrals.
