My New Fishes~~ =d

no point linkin those, the injured fish is frontosa, both females was fighting, my small fish, gold fish, even young angel fish is with frontosa, over 5 days.. ntg happened to em, but once i put both frontosa together, 1 will keep chasing another.

thanks for da advice, but i tested everything before i put those fishies in, none of em get bit over 5 days, i was worried too. but i think is alright.

5 days isn't a test to see that the front won't kill them

Oh, and the frontosa in the first picture is a male by the way.

ok, i think i trust my fish, because my 66g tank was meant to be for both my frontosa.. but they kept fighting, so i put the injured 1 into 20g tank, there has even more smaller fish, both fontosa dont even chase other type of fishes.

really? how do u know. i thought male have a bigger body and bigger horn

The one with the smaller bump is probably a subdominant male.
The dominant male will attack all other rival males. Sounds like you have two males.

Is the front staying in the 20 gallon by the way?

EDIT: For a confusing post

Only males have the bump.

no, shop keeper told me is female, i went to a guy house, his male has a big bump, and female has a normal 1 like mine

the injured 1 is staying in 26g, hes ok there with small fish, even fishes go pass his mouth he dont even open it.

is alright ill test a few days later, maybe i might get a new tank to put mah goldies in =/.. just gonna worry bout da food they eat and water temp..

Females can have a bump too, but if your male was attacking him, chances are he's a male too.

The frontosa cannot be kept in a 26 gallon. period. It'll stunt.

Don't "test" it again either. I think I can guess what will happen...again...

its both females, i haven get a male yet, i thought both females can be kept in da same tank, but no =(
even i put like lots of rock and holes for the injured 1 to hide, she doesnt wanna hide =(...
i know frontosa canot kept in 26g, ill try to get a better tank or sell it back to da shop, i love both da fron , sigh

im pretty sure is a female, most of the male have big bum on da head like really big 1,

Frontosa, and Angelfish, and Goldfish, oh my!

Goldfish= cold-water, peaceful, neutral Ph 7.0-7.5 (favored) Chinese?
Angelfish= tropical, semi-aggressive, acidic Ph 6.0-6.9 (favored) South American
Frontosa= tropical, aggressive, alkaline Ph 7.5-8.0 (favored) African

Please re-home all the fish in both the 60 something, and the 29

i think the point is being mised here, its not an issue whether your front will attack smaller fish the point is you are keeping him a 26g tank with goldfish, angelfish, they all have different water requirements, if i was that frontosa i would be a bit cranky to as he needs a higher ph, differnt kh than the others, oh by the way the one in the pic is a male by the way so i would guess you have 2 males, just some advice of my experiance with breeding frontosa, i always found they survive much better in larger groups it spreads the aggression and they are more peaceful, but you will need a much larger tank.

one more thing i would change lfs as they dont seem to care what they sell you or where it is being housed.
please dont think this is aimed at you your lfs should have asked questions and advised you about these stuning fish.

Dont feel bad about everyones comments just learn from them, nobody is trying to be aggressive towards you but just trying to help you :)

Good luck.
