Got him yesterday from Pier, hes aout 19 inches and hes a beauty, the pics don;t do his pattern or size justice

Bonus is hes settled straight in comes straight to the glass when I go near and feeds from my hand

Looking good m8. I was so tempted today in there myself but managed to restrain for now. My lid isnt good enough at the minute.

Just a quick question, I bought a Flagtail there today, along with my catfish. All the flagtails i see are like yours with the orange an black tails but mine is silver an black. I just presumed this was untill it settled. Is there a different varient u know of?

I'm not aware of a variant, I gotmine there last year, to be honest I ws looking at their flagtails almost one in every tank and I didn;t think they looked too healthy!! Hopefully yours will be fine and settle in ok. They are great fish!!!

I see what you mean the oscars are about 9 inch but I was thinking of full size rainbows and when I think about it I have only ever seen those in chester zoo

Compatible with anything that won;t fit in it s mouth really

Oddly enough a mate bougt me a 5 inch tyre track the other week and I had nowhere to put it at first so put it in a tank that had neons in it. Big mistake even though the neons were fully grown he had 7 in one night!!! My stupid fault really as should have known better

My fire eel lives very peacefully with silver dollars, knifefish and two oscars. he feeds at surface with the oscars easily, he certainly isn't bullied by the oscars
