My New Endlers!

here are some clearer pictures finally

Are they 100% pure endlers or partially hybrids??

Where did u get them from?

As 99% of shop fish are crosses, If u buy from a breeder then you have better chances, better still is if you can get fish with collection data.


Your males look nice but the black dose not look right for true endlers but this is not full proof.
Also they look to show a small sword, if this extends past the tail fin normal shape this too suggests a cross.
Lastly the females look's too large which is another common trate with crosses.

I can get them 100% pure endler fish. and loads of of crosses.

But i personally dont keep endlers

I have several pure endlers and yes they can have longer swords than that. I had bred some. My original stock came from the last collection of Adrian and Armondo Po. The female may just look so big due to angle of the camera.

Thanks for the info. The female looks too big in the picture than what she really is. This is only 1 of the 4 that I have. If you guys could post more pictures of Endlers that would be great.
This Endler has a really long tail compared to the other three I have and so it might be a hybrid.

They were from my LFS but they ordered them from a breeder and it took them 3 months to find some.

there lovely lookin whether pure or not... ive got a tank full of endlers all pure strains bred from adrians origonally. black bar,white peacock,blue top sword and snakeskin gorgeous fish but by god they breed more than guppies lol

They will usually drop every 28 days. And it don't take long to fill up a tank. I had over 500 endlers in less than a 8 months.

Yes some true do have swords but it's far from common in the hobby.

This is called a yellow top sword that I used to keep.
However the colour is the sword and they don't produce a physical sword

Nice fish ! But as said above it is very difficult to get pure endlers.

that is a lot of babies in a short time and i really want some now.
Mine don't have a true sword but their tail has the coloring like in the picture. the tail in reality is rounded and short.

The time to produce fry varies with temperature. If you run your tanks on the warm side of things, the drops can get as close as 23 days apart but who needs that many fry.
