he is easy to catch. if for some reason my hand goes into the tank I will just put him in a little bowl until i'm done.

do their bites hurt?? Ive been nipped by my females before but it didnt really hurt. Do the males have bigger mouths or something so they can get more flesh?? But then again maybe my girls' bites dont hurt cause they arent really being aggressive, just nipping curiously to see what my finger is doing in their "house".

BTW I think your man is very handsome! I have been thinking of getting one and adding him to my other tank since Im afraid he'll rip my girls apart!

it hurt a bit. it felt like a needle was being pushed into my skin. he did not draw blood, but did take the first layer of skin of of my finger.
