As I mentioned in the other thread, I went to look at the bettas tonight. I couldn't pick between two I really liked, and since I have two tank setups.. I brought them both home. So here they are, no names yet.

Fingers crossed that they are both in good health. They are very curious and active. They are in temporary half-gallon holders until I get their homes fully sanitized and set up. Welcome home little boys

For some reason Boy #2 doesn't look as nice in pictures as he does in person. The white boy shows up nicely, but my camera doesn't seem to capture the colors as accurately on the other one. I think I'm definitely going to put my white boy in the tank with the fluorescent light hood :)

I just gave them each a Bio-Gold pellet. White boy shot up and grabbed his aggressively. Then he munched on it for a few moments and spit it back out. He grabbed it again and spit it back out. I could almost hear him saying "Pttoooeey!" LOL. He ate it after it had softened up more. Red boy kinda watched his pellet suspiciously for a moment, and then grabbed it and ate it :). It does my heart good to see happy, curious bettas again

:D How wonderful! Please keep us up to date on their progress in their happy new home! they are such cuties!

arrrrrrrr hes gorgeus dont u think that those litte bubble gum machines that they sell (mini fishtank not even 1 gallon)to put bettas in are way to small i think its nasty to put them in one
