I must admit most of the Bettas you see in your Lfs are Veiltails, especially the chains, though some inedependants will order you specific types

my small independent store has just changed there supplier and are getting halfmoons in now! as well as the few dumbos this time round

I've been looking for more Lfs near me, most are chains, though a couple are independents, one of which are looking for a white halfmoon for me

Mine also offered to try get hold of any colour shape i'd like, might see if they can get any HM & dumbo females

I've never seen any dumbos in any fish shops near me, they're usually all veil tails, which is why I ended up with my new boy.
He's very feisty, he flares at me all the time lol
