I got a new fish from AquaBid... he's so unique.... what would you call this tail type?

I need a name...

She said she had two like him and that since I liked him so much, she would throw in the second for free!!! I'm going to give the other one to my roommate.

The fish you get may not be the same one pictured. I was looking at something else, and realized something.
That seller has sold a fish to someone else using that same pic. Check the sellers closed auctions and see. That person must have received the fish, because the seller already left Pos feedback. Did you pay yet? I know the person who got the 1st one. I can ask if it lookes like the pic if you want. Or you can yourself.

I don't know if any of this matters, just figured I share the info I stumbled onto.

Well, she said she had a couple that looked just like him, so maybe they are all siblings and she's just using the same picture since they are similar? I already payed, it's supposed to get shipped out today or tomorrow. I won't be all that upset if it's not EXACTLY the same, but if it doesn't have the same tail, I will be mad, because that's the whole reason I picked him!

If you want to ask, I would appreciate it.

I've got 4 bettas from my lfs and all of them have those spots. My other 18 didn't so I didn't know what that was all about. Can anyone clarify why some have spots and some don't or what genes they are carrying that make them have them?
