about 39" or there abouts the size of tank he will eventually be in is a 200gal with my large discus i think they are copatable as the arrowana will only eat what it see as fitting in its mouth so evetually he will proberbilly be in a tank with my large tyretrack

wish i had the size tank to keep one off these beautys how much did it set you back, i've never seen the black ones for sale

 its cost me a staggering £30 just for this small 3" fish but i have been after a black one for a long time had plenty of ops to buy silver ones

ps ryan the black on it does not last long does it but does the adult black still differ for the adult silver (eccept for size as sliver grow larger )

Yeah joey, a well coloured adult black will have a blueish tinge and blue tipped fins. Nice fish aren't they, mine also cost 30 pounds, is your little guy feeding yet?

There are varying opinions on the size of these fish, some same just as big as Silvers others say they will only reach 24" in captivity, maybe abit larger. I tend to believe the later as they seem far slower growing then Silvers. :)
