I went to my local fish shop to see what they had... They only had 3 only was lying on his side while the other one was all tail nips. Because they put them in a tank with tetras... One was a normal blue VT other was normal red VT... I was going to give it a miss and look somewhere else or wait till next time they have more in, then on caught my eye. I have to get him. Even though I told myself I wanted a CT I had to get this little (Active) pink/purple/white VT... He is a little tail nips because of the tetras but nothing a little TLC wont do... Here is some pics of him...

Clover!! Thats what i wasgoing to call radish. CT i swear its radishes brother they look so alike!! es wonderful of course

Yes i know they are the same. mine is less colourfuly coz he was a little stressed coz of travel and the bag... but he is getting his colour back... He is so fully of life and character... Is yours the same ?

I want something that goes with his name really - If possible :)

Thats a great name... I will keep it in mind lol...

He is pink red fins but with darker spots on his fins does this make him a damation or how ever you spell it ?

Make it personal to you. I spent ages thinking of one for Radish. But Richard had no trouble nicknaming the captain sidewinder straight away! Sometimes it just takes some time but it will come to ya! I got down to Radish and clover and just shouted the first one that came into my head! And it was Radish hes so friendly  The Captain is a big blue rebel. HeHe old grumpy guts.

Thank you for the comments... they are great,

also it is strange we post in the matter of a week or less and they all similar colours :D

Your is a damation so is fine as the spots ?

I generaly think he was a good buy :fish: :good:

I was thinking it was strange that three of use got similar coloured bettas in the same week :shifty: hmmm very mysterious. Radish is a playfull little guy he likes to follow my fingers and watch me through the tank. The Captain is very anti-social, but hes traumatised and old. We ( my partner and i although i bought Captain as a gift for him as he couldnt stand to see him suffer either and he loved his colours) just wanted to give him a place to live out his days in peace however many that may be. So Captain John Barbosa is staying with me for a while as i can keep up with his frequent water changes until my partner can take him, in roughly a week.

I want to rescue more already! But il save that for later when i have more money.

all is good in the forestpisces betta camp so far. :good:

Haha yep strange in deed...

Im glad ur Radish is a happy little betta... Also if they are old they tend to be anti social so thats nothing bad. Also you never know he might cheers up

be careful near that window. the light will probably casue algae. it wont hurt your fish at all but if it turns the water green, not fun t look at. are they real plants in there. if so i wouldnt worry SO much, but keep an eye out for algae and if you do see it appear, move the tank. its a hard battle to win.
hes lovely tho...and i have the same tank for one of my boys.
enjoy!!!!!!!!!!

Yep I know I have to watch out for algee. I will be. Wouldnt want to have the hard battle of getting shot of the algee. I have all real plants apart from one slik one :)
