Sarah the goldfish went to a friend's pond a good month or two ago, and is quite happy out in the wild. 16 neons in just about 24 hours was the turning point for her I'm afraid!
@ Vivienne, my housemate has inherited it (as a sort of unspoken quid pro quo for him not saying anything about me whacking my new one in the lounge). His 2ft will be used generally for holding water for water changes (24hrs gets rid of the need for conditioner IME as I said), but as a quarantine/hospital if and when the need arises.
