Today the first of the live stock was added and everything so far is looking good. I have added 4x turbo snails, 4x narsarius snails, 3x blue legged hermits and a skunk cleaner shrimp. I have also added 2x juvenile 'tank bred' percula clowns which are very active. The hermits, skunk cleaner shrimp and some of the narsarius are extremely active as well; searching for food and exploring their new home. The turbo snails are very inactive, moving very little but I am hoping that they are just adjusting and will start to explore in the next few days.
I am like many of you aiming to obtain a mature nano reef system but that is some way down the line. I think now the tank will be left for a little while to get a stable system and my routine in order before any corals are added. I do have a few more questions though: do you need to warm the top up water before adding it? What is other people's feeding routine e.g how often, what foods are used et cetera? Any other nuggets of wisdom will be appreciated.
Regards
