My New 90g

turns out I have exceded my data transfer, so I am going to thin out my site and see what I can free up.

There we go. All better.

I just ordered some Ferts from Greg watson.com. Pot. Nitrate, phosphate and sulpfate. I'm expecting it the first week of september. I still need to figure out exactly how to mix it up to get the right amounts, but I'll have to wait until I have it in front of me to do the maths. If anyone out there mixes it for their tank, and is close in size (90 gals) I would appreciate knowing your maths for it. That would help me out greatly.

The plants are all doing ok. The sword has sent of 3 more runners. It isn't doing that great right now, but I'm thinking that's because of all the little plants it's feeding. I suppose I should cut off the first stem, as it has 5 decent sized plants on it now. I have a few bare spots that they could go. I'll try and get to do that tonight.

The green water is back - but not as bad as last time. I'll have to get on the water changes until the ferts come, as I'm sure that's why it has come back.

On the plus side, the hair algae is going away. I don't know if it was the SAE's that did it, but it's no where near as bad as it was, so I'm happy.

I'll take som pictures tonight and post them as quite a bit has changed since my last post.

So here's the tank as of today. I moved a few things around. I bought a bunch of plants for the right corner - some hygro difformis and some cambomba. The co2 is still giving me problems. I can't seem to get the right pressure, and the flow stops. I'm going to have to take the tank back to the store and see what they think is happening.

Looks very nice.
My computer wont show me your otgher photos, unfortunatley.
And they say this is high speed :/

Ive exceded the band width on that site. I started a new webpage, but I havent moved those pics over yet

Great!
Very nice tank, love the angels!

The sand is pool filter sand. It cost me just under $15 (cad) to fill my tank with 100 pounds of sand.

The water is getting much clearer George. Nothing like it used to be, its not crystal clear... there is still a slight milky haze to it. I'm going to try a carbon sleeve in my filter when I clean it out today. I always has one in my old filter, and never had cloudy water. I don't know what else to do.

Unfortunately all the angles died when I had co2 problems and it got really high - 45ppm, dropping the ph to 6, and then the co2 stopped and the ph went to 7.8. I don't know if it was the co2 or the ph swing. I am going to get more, but not until I get this co2 under control.

The wood came with the tank. I bought it from a friend of mine when he moved to an appartment. He bought it off of his uncle. I would assume that he got it at a big als, or a store of that nature. Apparently it cost just over @200 for the 2 pieces.
