hi there on my male molly (white) his tail fin there seems to be slight dark maybe black bits on there round the edges any ideas what this can be cheers

Do you have a pic? It might just be a little coloration.

Hi, My male molly was bought as a dalmatian, he was heavily spotted. As he has grown he has turned almost completly black so maybe the colour is changing. As long as he is acting normally, I'd just keep an eye on him.

he seems fine the only thing is he is tryn to mate with one of my female mollys 24/7:hey: he wont stop leaving her alone atall he ignores the other two females though recently he has been chasing the dalmation female about the tank wether he is tryn to mate with her im not sure any feedback on these 2 situatations would be helpful thanks

That seems perfectly normal behaviour for a male livebearer- they are completely sex-driven.

Hi, You could try giving the female lots of hiding places so she can get out of the way if possible. Then I expect he'll start chasing the others!lol
I didn't know anything about livebearers when I got mine, the first babies arrived and I was thrilled( I thought it was such an achievement to get them to breed) Now I see fry and think Oh No, where am I going to put them all!

ok thanks 4 ya answers guys well its a 20 gallon tank ni have added a rockk for my plec to hide away in also a castle like ornament and i have added 2 plants aswell so should i add another 3 or 4 plants then and maybe group them together like a mini jungle kinda thing? lol

I thought the same after my first lot...

Then I see my girlfriend madly netting the second lot and I'm thinking to myself....oh....no....where are they going to live....

But at least she is interested in it also...

Good idea, the more the merrier as far as the plants are concerned.
