My Longfin Bns Breed Again With Normal Female Bns

not allowered any more tanks

i have divided my 6.5ft tank into 3 now and have a pair breeding of normal(common) bristlenose
and 2 ft tank with fry from the longfin /common bns

4ft tank divided into 2 breeding trio bns one side and my breeding group of red cherry shrimp the other side plus a breeding pair of bns

corner tank i have all my longfins bns adults

when i sell my normal bristlenose and some of my shrimp lol

hi moved dad again and the fry as i am going to use the tank for my new females x4 golden longfins as they coming from Czech republic
as i was allowed to set up anther tank lol

u can see some of the last lot of fry with some of this lot cldnt get a good pic of in side of cave

to go in with the other longfins i have now i have 8 x females and 2x males in corner tank
not big ones not happy with the size of them they sed they are large in size these are more like min they are 2.5 to 3ins long

for wot i paid for them not worth it all

Hi sean,
They are nice looking long fins, some of the long fins are smaller than the normal ones i wouldnt worry.Feed them up and you will soon have babies.
If you dont want them i will have them lol

i am happy just at the time wasnt but they be ok ill feed them up anyway

they are really nice
cant wait for my longfins to breed so i can sell the fry on to every one

My long fin calicos babies are coming on nicely
The new ones are settling well and i think the smaller one is going to be a male as the other male wont let him eat near him when he feeds but he lets the other female.

Posting isnt that bad i have done it alot now and its getting easier not too worry all night.
1ST one i posted i couldnt sleep and had to go to work at 6am and i looked like death. Trying to explain it at work was funny FISH IN THE POST LOL

i have fish posted to me all the time but never posted before

but have packed fish before for people its the same but posting it just got to make sure double packed and that

i have had 100's of fish posted to me over the past 20 years of keeping fish lol


its that first ever one in it

its like now every time i got fish coming i dont sleep much i think hopefully the post person well do a good job lol

only had fish d.o.a 4 times

so not to bad

ill do it i will have to as i have so many bns fry so will have to do it some point lol

I have had alot of fish via the post due to not having transport and no good lfs near by.
The fish i had from private breeders have been fanastic.And have made some good friends. I have only had one which i thought they might have been d o a someone sent fish in sandwich bags lucky the postman knows me and brought them to me first. They all made it not much water left thou.

Only problem i have is paying for fish and not getting them and they make a lovely profit not doing nothing.
