with everyone slagging their walmarts I just thought I'd give a thumbs up
to my local.
I went in on a Sunday night a couple of months ago and really reamed out the manager because the bettas were in those stupid tiny cups and the water was absolutely filthy.

Now I stop by to check on "the boys" every time I go into the store. I can't buy them myself but I want to make sure that they're at least looked after while they're there... and you know what, they are! the water is always reasonably clean. they're still in those stupid, cruel cups, but I've never seen the water that filthy again.

well the cup thing will never change, its just not cost effective for the store and thats something we gotta understand, we gotta look at it from their view as well but your right there is no reasonable explaination for letting those fish live in the nasty water that they were thanx for clearing that up drazi

I second the above post. No point in trying to get them to stop with the cups. Are they the bigger kind of cup (mine upgraded from the really small ones)?
