My Little Reef

They will move, but not too much, its usually to find a 'better place' on the sand bed, mine hasn't moved a lot lately so I assume its quite happy where it is!
I have never had a problem with it catching my CUC, (crabs and snails often detour accross it) although I have found tiny dead crabs or bits of shrimp in its mouth sometimes in the morning, I assume that these were dead before they got there, they do use their tentacles to move food up to their mouths and inflate themselves to move or get rid of sand that happens to land on them.
mine loves brine shrimp eggs-it's the only time I can get it to inflate when the lights are on, it also has a thriving colony of brine shrimp living underneath it, which I find quite amusing!
Cheers

Seren if you ever want to frag it send me a MP as id love to own one! would be happy to exchange if I have anything you want at that time or give cash money for it!!! coolio! just a thought...

Glad to hear you tank is going well, when you looking to upgrade? what you thinking of going to?

Hi CoMan,if I do frag it you are welcome to it, I'll let you know. I have a river reef sitting in my spare room, waiting for me to get myself organised! Am trying to decide what I want to do beefore I set it up this time, my current nano is a mishmash of things and I was thinking of a biotope' but at the moment it would seem that the new one will just be re housing my current stuff! I might just put the lps in one and softies in the other!
Did look into a red sea biotope, but for choice and accessibility of fish and corals' a Bali biotope or australian may be easier! Any suggestions welcome! Have just been given a fluval edge too, so am tempted to set up a pico for my bedroom! Watch this space!

Thanks thats very kind! just let me know if and when. A red sea biotope would be the bomb! but like you say getting stuff may be hard? I'd say get the river reef going and it will inspire you further into the hobby! Im already thinking of a bigger setup..lol

You are so right, I know I should get my a**e in gear, but have just about finished lambing and just about to start foaling, and I know how fanatical I'll be about setting it up so I may just have to wait a month or so, Spring is soo busy!
