What a sweety. My Hammy (Fizz) looks like the one in the avator. She usually gets up about now for a roll about in her ball. I cleaned her out yesterday morning and she was in a bad fit. I managed to persuade her to get in her ball. I didnt pinch her larder or take all her bedding. When I put her back in her cage she spent ages scooping all the sawdust up one corner all her bedding and all her food. She was making clicking noises which she does when she is mad. She is a biter. I was given her when she was about 3 months old. A little girl had mated her hamster and some well meaning person had told her Mum not to handle the babies, so they didnt at all. Hence when the babies went to new homes, most of them bit the kids who had them. I rescued this one she wont be handled but always get in her ball if you hold it next to her.

One of our german sheperd puppies killed one of my hmasters many moons ago. Unfortunately the hamster escaped it's glass cage overnight & when I gtot up in the morning it was dead on the liveing room floor with some blood spread around here & their. Didn't eat it, just killed it.

sorry to hear that. that has happened to me once with one of my previose hammys, it was killed because my aunties dog kinda chewed it up a bit.
