Thanks, it's just hard when you have a pet so long. It's like walking a tightrope with fish because they can just die so easily. I think he must have swam into a rock or the glass and damaged himself fatally. Now it's just the 2 belems and a large geophagus in the tank. I'm not adding anymore fish to my South Americans now, they can live out their days together and I will then close down the tank.

I know what you mean, I have lost enough fish now that I am so wary of adding new fish. My eldest is Lilly my Severum, its hard to know just how old she is but I think shes about 10 its going to be tough what ever happens to her I have had her nearly 6 years.
