My L128 Blue Phantom

Beautiful pleco, first time i have seen one he doesn't look that much different from my Green phantom, lighter in colour not the shade i was expecting but yes stunning!!

hes a strange one its only in certain lights that you see the blue

Makes me really miss my Green Phantom, died mysteriously one day. Stunning plec though mate, plecs are just the best thing to keep IMO (except Jacks)

Simonas when i add pleco food they dont bat an eyelid i can only get the Royal plec to come out by tempting him with cucumber i was thinking how do your pleco's know when feeding time is and what brings them out to pose for your camera?

Pleco fan the Galaxis, L128 and big make ancistrus just come out when I add food. As I;lm always feeding the discus they always come out and fill theyre boots. The Royal I have doesn;t join in but then I have fed him vegg stuff seperately and the L114 well I never see him which is why there are no pics lol I just put some catfish pellets in when its been dark for a while in the hope hes getting some

LOL thats what i do mostly, i use "I love fish plec pellets" and or "Hikari algae wafers" after turning the lights off.
I recently read that a pleco that hides is a happy one but that doesn't make me very happy lol

Try using some frozen food, my plecos love it all of them come out

I've got a royal pleco, galaxias pleco and blue phantom pleco, they love bloodworm..

Amy I feed predominantly frozen anyhow for e discus and the plecs love it but I also add pellets veg prawns and wafers both carnivore and vegetable

Yes i do also give them wafers, and as i didn't have cucumber i gave them a brocolli stem, which the blue phantom really liked

I haven't tried the pellets before though, maybe i should try some to give them more of a variety ...

How bout an l264 seffie sultan plec they are beautiful or the l134 leopard frogs are lovely as well

I've got a royal pleco, galaxias pleco and blue phantom pleco, they love bloodworm..

I feed frozen bloodworm almost daily but the other fish gobble them up whist the pleco's are still hiding, to feed my smallish Fire eel I simply place a cube in the net(after thawing it ) and he swims into the net and eats the lot!

Love it how the dots are closely confined towards his nose, but disperse towards his tail!
