My Kitty is Doing Bad Things...

Ive been meaning to get my newest kitty fixed, as he is around 10 months old. So today, he was being all nice & making himself a place to sleep on my bed. Next thing I know hes humping my sheets I shut my door, come back in here later on & he comes in & goes through the same thing. My cat is in love w/ my bed

So not knowing how booked our vet is, is there any way to make him understand my bed isn't a big kitty?

He is spraying the house lol, your bed wont be the only place he has done this, i have a 10month old male as well, if you get him fixed it will stop but they do become lazy and not as playful thats why im against it, i just smacked himeverytime he tryed to do it on our bed and now he knows not to.

Hopefully he'll get the point of me putting him down & saying NO, ewe, and bad kitty, hehe.

My other kitty is fixed, it didnt seem to change him at all. He's quite playful Until we got the new kitty, then he turned into a mum cat, now he's getting back to his old self finally. I just hope he doesnt start hunting down our legs again...

Abe, my cat Squishy is fixed, and still does it every evening. He will do this for sometimes up to an hour. It's very annoying when I'm trying to sleep.

I don't smack my cats. The last cat I had eventually ended up hating me as she got older and avoided me. Lesson learned.

Whenever Squishy starts humping, ( ) I push him down so he's laying and pet him for a few minutes. It usually calms him down and he goes to sleep.

Thank you for your advice Thats what Ive been doing, when hes kneading around now I just kinda knock him over, hehe. He hasnt done it the past day or so though thankfully. I just had this horrible image in my head that he would be this big horny cat humping everything in sight...

He has to be good until September, our vet is booked up until then & all the other vets I called want $100+ for the fixing. grr!

well, why dont you just close the bedroom door in his face. apart from anything else, you will have his hair all over your bedroom. My pets don't come upstairs and its a healthier environment in the longrun. I wouldnt hit a cat. they are too delicate. Heck, I wouldnt even HAVE a cat! JK. Love them really.

if she closes the door, then the kitty will probably just meow, and scratch the door, and meow some more, till it gets its way. lol......especially if it knows ur in there


my kitty was soo mad when she wasn't aloud in my room anymore....she'd always bug to come in, but just wasn't aloud

Get a lil spray water bottle. When ya catch him sqirt squirt. Pretty soon hes not so interested in spraying the bed.

get him a gurlfriend just make sure u get her done, or ull have loooadsa lil baby kitties runnin all over the house like i do
