I have a 25 watt in my 2.5 gallon tanks and they do fine, not a problem at all.

ooooh I'll have to look into that. It's getting cold here now Mexico's houses don't have indoor heaters or air conditioning (unless you live in a really really ritzy area) and I think it's the cold that's made my fishy stop building his bubblenests

I have one of those EI heads too - I think they're so cute. When I get a 55g, I want to get one of the big ones, and then put they tiny one next to it. Dumb and cheesy, but "big head-little head" would make me laugh.

Okay, I got bored again. Buttons was the only bright color I had in my room - when I am not surfing the net. I miss him being next to my computer, so I decided to rearrange and put him back. This time, he has Von Bismarck and The Duke with him as there is algae on the sides. Those tetra bullies were moved out.

Ah yes. A little better.... His fins match my rug but contrast to everything else in my room and the tank.

I run two nano-filters to keep the water ultra clean. There is current but nothing too strong.

Anyway, it's not real important, I just thought I'd mention it for future stocking references, Lol.

I got bored, so I removed the plastic plant and added mondo grass and a small amazon. Looks a bit better. Buttons seems to love it. I think I'll find some dwarf grass and put it in at least half the tank.

Petland rules-the tanks are so cheap ( $8 for a 5g ) Cool tank, I would have one next to our computer, if it was in my room Are you sure the filtration is good enough?
