Greetings fellow fishkeepers! I love how fishkeeping marries science, art, and our heartfelt love of caring for and interacting with animals. I have taken care of fish on and off since the early 90's. Back then I was really into African cichlids and had three large tanks of them. I've had to move a lot over the years so there were many years that I was unable to keep any aquariums, but I have settled down in 2020 and bought a house so I have revived my passion for caretaking of tropical fish. Multi-tank syndrom is a real struggle. Right now I have 4 tanks set up for my large schools of neon tetra, panda cory's, longfin leapard danios, and black kuhli loaches. I also have a very well behaved, gorgeous and goofy blue black betta, a very shy but cute as a button dwarf pea puffer,a dwarf african aquatic frog, 2 hillstream loaches, a few ghost shrimp, and have been breeding mystery snails. I have 2 other tanks that I do not have set up yet but have plans for as soon as I can figure out a place to put them. I'm just now getting into planted tanks so enjoying learning about that as I convert my tanks to all planted; one is now fully converted to planted, still working on the other tanks.
