My Insides Are Ripping Apart!

thanks, but i cant. My mom wont let me buy from people from craiglist, or the classsfied adds.

When in need check the Used Sales sites You would be surprised what deals you can get ... I picked up a fully equipped 30G and it has been working flawlessly since.

Just make sure to check the tank out properly and don't worry about offending the buyer with possible mis-trust ...

Aww, that stinks! I don't know what to tell ya....thats a hard decision. If I had the space I'd offer your angels a home until you could take them back....but I really can't take on any more fish for awhile...

Good luck!

30g is too small aswell really, wait untill the time comes where you can propperly house the fish, then get them.

Will seee,i was planning on only a couple, not like a whoel bunch, maybe a male and 2 females, which should fit int here, according to my friend. Plus, i have lots of slate i can use for rockwork.

Blimey thats a dramatic topic title!

Dude, they are just fish. Not worth ripping your sides apart for!

I'm going to have to go with SJ2K on this one, 30gal is too small. Even though yellow labs (labidochromis caeruleus) are considered mildly aggressive they are still mbuna and should be housed accordingly.

I started out with 5 juveniles in a 29gal tank (despite being told it wouldn't work), they fought until only 1 male and 2 females were left. They did breed successfully, however, all offspring would be killed once they reached the 1 inch mark. The adults were highly aggressive and would even attack me when changing water. However, nce I moved them to a 75gal tank they became quite peaceful and were quickly bumped to the bottom of the tank hierarchy, being bullied by fish a third of their size.

I understand being excited about sourcing fish you've wanted for a long time, but please wait until you can do it properly. :good:
