my hoplos enjoying the pleasure of sand

well i took these a couple of weeks back in a huge photo session (these are the best i got out of 5 uploads)

they are two different hoplos ones actualy lighter than the other, and they are both mental after water changes, all the other times they are nice an calm lol

Those are some VERY interesting fish you've got there. I've never seen anything quite like them. They are very beautiful with the spots and whiskers!!

Oh, and I really like that tall onion grass type plant in your tank. I was thinking about getting some of that.

its just fake grass that i got months ago an only just decided to put in my tank.. my golden barbs seem to think its theres only and my clown loach seems to think its a barb


as for the hoplos... i think they get to roughly 6-8 inches... i cant sex them till they are older either cause when the male gets older one of his barbles goes a nice orange color
atm they are only about 2 inches long
