My Heater Exploded

Hello all, my glass on heater exploded when doing maintanence on tank. The pet shop opens in about 16 hours do you think this will be alright. It is Summer where i live in QLD Australia and about 22 degrees at the moment but i have changed all the water, the tank is 65 litres and we have Clown loach, neons, tetras, kissing fish, , 2 cat fish and dwarf guanmi and a angel fish 13 fish all up and in good health.

ouch!!!!!!!! perhaps switching off the heater next time may avoid the problem! the temp should not be too much of a problem, but if you are worried, try wrapping the tank in blankets at night, which could reduce any heat loss. hope things go ok, let us know.
 
How big is your tank? The bigger it is the longer it will stay warm.
 
Hey man it's QLD half the time you don't even need a heater, my tanks are pushing 30 at the best of times!
 
I would hurry out and get a new heater, don't want the temp dropping to fast as that can cause an outbreak of columnaris, whitespot and swim bladder.
Any fish darting about the tank, electric shock can also cause a bent spine in fish.
