Wow, I just realized there's an area on this forum to post about something other than your fish. Go figure. Great, now I will be here twice as much. heh heh.

Yay! I'm off to find out about all of everyone else's other pets!

Awww..they are so adorable. I've always wanted one of those...of course then my cats would probably torment it and I wouldn't want that.

Thanks!
We treat them like they're our children.
We even have health insurance for them both. lol

Yeah, cats and piggies don't get along well at ALL.

Aww they are so cute! I've always wanted one, but I also worry about my cats tormenting them and I don't really have room in my apartment for a big cage. I just love the little noises that they make.

My brothers dad gave me one he got, his Jack Russel Terrier wouldn't stop drooling at it through the tank he had it in, and it was sick... He's an A$$hole but anyways, we named her Wheezy since she wheezed a lot, but then we gave her to these people who rescue animals because we couldn't afford to give her the care she needed  I really liked her, she was the first one I was ever around...

Yours are so cute!!! They're just so huggable!

I work with a local rescue shelter to provide stuff to a woman who saves piggies who are unwanted or their owners can't care for them anymore. What an rewarding thing to do, but man... talk about heartbreak.

There was one very well-to-do family that adopted 3 little piggies from PetSmart and they ended up being so neglected and underfed that they all ended up horribly sick, so much to the point that they were having seizures - and now, several weeks later the seizing has calmed down a bit, but they still have them. And one of the little guys will forever have scars on his whole body where the mite infestation literally ripped his skin to shards.

the poor little angels.
I'm pretty glad the woman to went to pick them up vowed to never reveal the identity of the people who used to own them to me. I'd be paying them a nice visit and presenting some hefty vet and med bills to them on her behalf. UUgh.

Anyway - I love guinea pigs. Even the white ones, which no one ever seems to want. People always want the "pretty" pigs. I think they're all beautiful.

Oh. my. Stan's photos are so sweet! I used to have a long haired guinea pig and I brushed his hair with a toothbrush. A NEW toothbrush, that is. :D

Thanks :)
I borrowed our really nice work camera and he was a very good boy for the pics

Ooooooh I loooove long haired piggies.
They're so adorable and sweet.

Oh, I love guinea pigs!

I have one, Taffy. I would love to adopt him a friend. (I've been doing a lot of looking on petfinder.com!) But, he just turned 6 so I'm not sure how well he'd adjust to it, or if he would even like a friend or not. For now, I'm just planning on making him a nice, big C&C cage. :)
