We have a GSDxrottie called Ruby - must be something about that name, I recently saw a pure rottie named Ruby as well!

you dont know half of it lol the reason for her name is that she had a black mark on her head when we had he sadly its now turned into a black line

She actually looks like a very blonde sable. Sable colors and markings change until they are fully matured. I have a 2 yr old male red sable (first dog in my sig line) and friends that do not see him often are constantly surprised it is the same dog his looks change that much.
